    BTW I have never heard of any of your classics choices – how did you find out about them?

      The four classics so far this year are more in the line of “popular” classics than “literature” classics. All of these I listened to from LibriVox.

      You may have heard of Anna Katharine Green if you were around at 19th when we read The Leavenworth Case.

      The others are mostly from the early 20th century. Rinehart was very popular. Hers are mostly mysteries of the cozy variety. I heard of Vance from an old 50s TV series here in the U.S. Futrelle was prolific, but died at a young age on the Titanic.

      Actually, this is just the books which count for one challenge or another. However, there are a number of books which are listed twice above since they count for more than one challenge.

      This is the only year I’ve done this – and probably the last. 😉
