Thank you to Cathy at 76 Books for hosting the fun Challenge 20 Books of Summer!
The Challenge began June 1 and ends tomorrow, September 4. Sliding under the wire, I finished my 20th book this morning. Classics topped the list with eight Classic books, followed closely by seven Series Mysteries. There were two non-fiction books and three in other genres.
If you participated, how are you doing?
Congrats! I didn’t participate, but it does sound like fun.

Thanks, it was! Other books kept slipping in (actually, forcing their way to the front), but Cathy let us change horses mid-stream as it were.

Well done on meeting your goal. I knew I wouldn’t have been able to get through this number of books so I didn’t participate but I envied people who did.

This year Cathy also had a 10 Books of Summer. Something for you to think about for next year.

Brilliant, you made all 20! I managed 18, which is better than I thought I would do to be honest. Maybe I’ll manage all 20 next summer. Thanks so much for participating!

Thanks for hosting it, Cathy – and for letting us change out books guilt-free!

Reading should always be guilt-free 🙂

Nice work! Of the TBR list I made for this challenge I made it through 18 (including a couple DNFs). But I read over 25 others that weren’t on my list so I’m still marking the challenge as an update. I plan to do an update post on it tomorrow.

Twenty-three extra books! Impressive. I read three extra books, so my total equals your extras. 🙂
You made it further than I did on my original list, Maren. I only read thirteen from mine. Taking advantage of Cathy’s generosity, I changed my list about halfway through and completed all of the new list.

Congrats! That is an impressive amount of books for the summer especially with that many classics (they take me much longer to read.)

Thanks, Shannon. I know what you mean about the classics. A couple of them were quite difficult, but (luckily for me) shortish, only novella length really.

Oh well done! I scored fifteen finished, two I was still reading (I’ve finished one of those), two DNFs but I’m glad I read them and one not yet started. As I started late and read other stuff I hadn’t nominated, I’m calling that a win. And I made lots of new blog friends!
