I’m back after having missed Teaser Tuesdays for the entire month of May.
Explosive Eighteen
(Stephanie Plum #18)
by Janet Evanovich
I couldn’t keep my eyes open. Especially the one that was black-and-blue and swollen.

What are you currently reading? Do you have a TT to share with us?
Sounds like typical Stephanie. The only thing more iconic would be a teaser about another destroyed car. My adult teaser comes from Clockwork Secrets by Dru Pagliassotti. Happy reading!

Ha, ha. There’s a cute bit about the cars in either this book or the one before. Ranger’s guys have a betting pool about when the next car bites the dust.

I can’t believe I still haven’t read this series. I really need to start it one of these days.

The plots are not always the greatest, but I read it for the characters and the humor. I’ve grown very attached to the characters over the years. 🙂

Ha! Sadly I never did get hooked on this series.

It’s a good one if you like plenty of humor.

I really enjoyed the first 8 or so books in this series. Since then all the plots feel recycled, and there is never any character growth or development. I’m on a mission to finish though – I think I have two left. 🙂

I stopped reading this series for a while since it isn’t one of my top favorites. But started up again because it’s so perfect for me in between other series without much humor. I’m beginning to feel much the same as you, but some of the scenes really crack me up anyway.

Looks like she is in trouble again… I really have to start this series at some point; I’ve heard great things about it. Here’s my teaser.

LOL, when is Stephanie not in trouble?

I’m so behind in this series. I took a break from it a few books ago and haven’t managed to get back to it. One of these days!

I had a spell where I didn’t read these either. I don’t remember now why that was. This year I included it in the Finish the Series Challenge, so I should catch up.

Oh no- what happened to her? I’ve never read these, but heard of them of course- they look fun!

That would be telling! 🙂 She always bounces right back though. Who would think that all these dreadful things happening could be so humorous.

Dang, that’s a tough one. I’m with Kathy about the cars. I’d get in on the betting pool. LOL I need to get back into her books. They never fail to make me laugh:)
Thanks for stopping by my post!

I’m pretty sure the betting pool will be an ongoing thing. The guys are having too much fun with it, lol.

Thanks, Nise. Yea, another Stephanie Plum fan. I like pretty much all the characters now except of course for Vinnie, lol. I’ve loved Grandma Mazur from the beginning. Lula, I didn’t like so much at first, but she has sure grown on me.

The quote sounds interesting! I’ll add this series to my TBR list! Thanks Dagny 🙂
I’m presently reading a sci-fi Swedish anthology (received it for reviewing) and the first story is mind boggling… Also this other book The Murder Bag, that I’m trying to read as and when I can squeeze in the time, is really great.
I hope you’re having a great day!!! 🙂

The Stephanie Plum series is very humorous, over the top with it really, but the more ridiculous it gets, the harder I seem to laugh. Light, fast reading.
I’m surprised you’re finding time to read much this month! Good to have a break from writing though to rest your mind a bit.

I’ll have to read it now 🙂
And yea… it relaxes but more often than not it exhausts me… It kind of takes me completely off the book I’m writing. Sometimes it’s good, but most of the times I get a bit mixed up… lol!
I guess I’ll have to take a break from all the reading for a week now 😉
