National Library Week is in April. Stefani at Caught Read Handed and Amy at Read What I Like hosted the #ReadingMyLibrary Challenge which took place during the month of April.
I read four library books in April for a savings of almost $100.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J K Rowling
Dead in the Family (Sookie Stackhouse #10) by Charlaine Harris
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
Looking for Peyton Place by Barbara Delinsky (audio book)
Thanks to Stefani and Amy for putting this Reading Challenge together and promoting the use and support of libraries everywhere. Remember that libraries are for all year, not just one month!
I enjoyed Fangirl…and read Looking for Peyton Place a while ago. Enjoy your reading! I need to read more from the library.

Sorry that I haven’t replied to your comments…I tried to be strict about my social media interactions. How did you like Harry Potter? I’m surprised you’ve escaped reading it thus far.

No worries. I knew from your blog that you were in the midst of a media free week.
I fear I am not a Harry Potter fan. I really liked the early part of the book where he was living with his aunt, uncle and incredibly spoiled cousin. And I am so glad to have read about his parents, being told he was a wizard and getting ready for school. But for me, even with the magic, school days were school days and didn’t really hold my interest.

I think that’s fair. It reminds me of my experience with “Game of Thrones.” I found the political intrigue far more interesting than the magic or dragons.

Hey Dagny! How are you (it’s been quite long since we last exchanged comments!) I hope everything’s going fine at your end.
Can you please give me your email id… I need to talk to you about something and I guess mailing will be a much better place for that conversation. It’s nothing serious, just wanted to ask you something related to RMFAO.

I’ll send it to you in a private message at Goodreads – or you can message me there.
