Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Anyone can participate.
If you’re new to Teaser Tuesdays, the details are at MizB’s Should Be Reading or on my Teaser Tuesdays Page.
I am back to a series mystery for this week and Stephanie Plum is back up to her usual (and unusual) misfortunes.
Fearless Fourteen
(Stephanie Plum #14)
by Janet Evanovich
Ordinarily, if you look like you belong somewhere, no one pays attention. Unfortunately, I was blue, and I looked like I belonged in some distant galaxy.

Do you have any series which you faithfully follow? Or have you discovered any new possibilities recently?
What are you reading now? Do you have a TT to share with us? Please leave a comment with your link on MizB’s Teaser Tuesday post or below. If you don’t have a blog, you can share your Teaser here in the comment section instead.
Yeah… that would do it.
I guess you know you’ve ‘arrived’ when all you need on your cover is your name, and people will buy it. Evanovich really has a following. Good for her.
Thank you for stopping by for my teaser, as always! Mine this week is from a spy thriller: http://pdworkman.com/excerpt-from-blood-line/

This one is going a bit overboard, but I’m laughing anyway. Thanks for stopping by to comment and leave your link for everyone.

Sounds like an interesting series! I think I have one of the Stephanie Plum books on my TBR pile, but I’m positive it’s not the first one… Would you say it is necessary to read the series in order?

Evanovich has made it easy to know the order by the titles. The first one is One for the Money. I’m a fanatic about reading series in order, but having said that, I don’t think it is as necessary with this series as with others. Not much changes in the relationships between characters. Sometimes a side character from another book will pop up, but that’s not much of a factor that I recall.

Good to know! I just checked and I have a copy of Takedown Twenty on my TBR shelf… Way down in the series, so I will probably read it first to get a feel of the main characters and prose before I decide to read the whole series from the beginning.

I just read a synopsis of Takedown Twenty. From the description it didn’t look like anything had changed with the major characters, so you should be ok.

Sounds great, I will be doing just that then. Thanks!

Haha! Only Stephanie Plum could end up dyed blue!

This series has some great moments and images. I really should catch up. Happy reading!

I find the plots rather uneven throughout the series, some are more fun than others, but even with the ones I don’t care for, there are, as you say, great moments and images to still make the read enjoyable. The family dinners are always a highlight.

I need to get back to this series! I have read several, but not this one yet. Thanks for sharing, and enjoy! And thanks for visiting my blog.

Yours this week sounds pretty intense.

Is Stephanie normally blue or is this something new? I think I’d be too daunted to start a series that already has 14 books in it but this one does sound very fun! Thanks for sharing 🙂 Hope you have a great week!

Stephanie had one of her “incidents” and exploding blue dye was involved. These are fast, light reads. Thanks for coming by to comment and leave your link.

This series is great for when I need a laugh. Since, Stephanie and Lula are always in crazy and dangerous situations, it’s always interesting to see how they get out of them!
Thanks for stopping by my teaser!

It really is, what a pair! You’ll be interested to know that Lula also got “blued” along with a couple of other characters. Thanks for coming by to comment. From the sound of your teaser, you’ll need something good for a laugh after The Madman’s Daughter. It sounds very intense.

I’m definitely curious about why she’s blue! I haven’t delved into the Stephanie Plum series, but it’s on my radar. I’ve heard so many positive things about the books.
My Tuesday post features ALL THAT GLITTERS.

I just finished Fearless Fourteen over lunch. It had been up and down for me because there were a couple of characters I didn’t care for, but the ending was epic. So perfect.
Thanks for commenting and leaving your link for everyone. I see yours this week has humor also.

Thanks, Claudia. I had trouble getting to your link so I’ll try again later. I think it might be a temporary glitch with my server.

I’ve never read a Stephanie Plum book, but always hear good reports. I love a book that makes me laugh – and judging by this teaser, this book would do exactly that. You might like Kathryn Ledson’s books, too.
Thanks for visiting Write Note Reviews.

Me, too. I read a lot of classics, but when it comes to contemporary books, ones with humor definitely outnumber the others. Thanks for the tip on Kathryn Ledson.

I’m so behind in this series and it’s hard to remember where I left off. I do read a lot of her books.

I haven’t read any of Evanovich’s other series. I have the first Lizzie and Diesel though and plan to get around to it eventually. I liked Diesel when he was in one of the Stephanie books.
Thanks for leaving your link for everyone. Hard to go wrong if the Loch Ness monster is involved – or suspected.

I’ve been meaning and meaning to read these (and the Sue Graftons)! I have all of them in my DropBox but something else always seems to distract my attention. Some day!!!

Both Stephanie Plum and Kinsey Millhone are included in my “Finish the Series” Challenge this year! I know just what you mean about being distracted. 🙂
