Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Anyone can participate.
If you’re new to Teaser Tuesdays, the details are at MizB’s Should Be Reading or on my Teaser Tuesdays Page.
Last week my Teaser was a book by Douglas Preston. By coincidence, this week it is from a book by Lincoln Child. Together they write the best-selling Pendergast series.
Terminal Freeze
by Lincoln Child
Large ice boulders lay scattered along its base like so many monstrous diamonds, along with dagger-like shards of ancient lava. Marshall opened his mouth to warn Sully against standing so close: the glacier was as dangerous as it was pretty since the weather had turned warmer and the ice front was calving off deadly chunks at an unprecedented rate.

What are you reading now? Do you have a TT to share with us?
Please leave a comment with your link on MizB’s Teaser Tuesday post or below. If you don’t have a blog, you can share your Teaser here in the comment section instead.
Good teaser – I’m intrigued… though I suspect I might enjoy the Prendergast books more. Must make time to try these authors, either separately or together… Will you be reviewing this one?

I don’t do much in the way of reviews. 😦 Usually a blurb at Goodreads with my personal thoughts is the extent of them.
I was looking over the books they have each written individually and found that except for Preston’s The Monster of Florence, I slightly prefer Child’s books.
Thanks for stopping by. I wish I had remembered Burns night!

I wish I had remembered Burns night too – and I’ve got less excuse! 😉

As usual great pick Dagny. Your choice is really awesome 🙂
I’m still stuck on the same 4 books as last tuesday… lol… 😉

I think I’m going to end up liking this one much more than The Kraken Project by Douglas Preston which was last week’s choice. It was a bit of a disappointment. Good, but just not as good as expected.

Hmmm… I know the feeling! I hope this one cheers you up 🙂
Lemme know how you liked it when you’re done. If it’ll be good then I’ll also add it to my TBR 🙂

Nice teaser – drew me right in. I don’t believe I’ve read either author or combined. Always love it when I discover new to me authors while doing memes 🙂

Haven’t read any of his books. This one looks good so maybe I should give him a time.

They also wrote some non-series books together – thrillers that kept me on the edge of my seat.

I’ve heard if him, but I’ve never read his books before. Good quote! Here’s my TT: https://darcysbookblog.wordpress.com/2015/01/27/teaser-tuesday-jan-27/

Wow! Sounds dangerous! Where could they possibly be with large ice boulders laying scattered along the ground? More importantly why!?

The first question is easy: Alaska’s Federal Wilderness Zone. The rest – therein lies the mystery and suspense.

LOL, not many light notes in this one – although there is one with one of the guy before he arrives.

Nice descriptive teaser, definitely fits in with the cool weather of late.
I’m reading a few books at the moment and just finished Ally Carter’s All Fall Down. My TT is from The Walls Around us:

I started it during a lull in the bad weather, but was thinking about the NE the last couple of days. Makes the storm for these characters not seem so bad – not the storm itself that is, of course then there is what is hiding in that storm.
