Hooray! I am finally back to a favorite genre – series mysteries.
The Family Way by Rhys Bowen
Daniel suggested that he could fend for himself just fine and I should go up to his mother in Westchester County, where I’d be cooler and well looked after. I didn’t say it out loud but I’d rather have endured a fiery furnace than a prolonged stay with Daniel’s mother.
The Family Way is the 12th in Rhys Bowen’s Molly Murphy series. I was hooked from the very first one, Murphy’s Law.
What are you reading now? Do you have a TT to share with us?
Please leave a comment with your link on MizB’s Teaser Tuesday post or below. If you don’t have a blog, you can share your Teaser here in the comment section instead.
A great teaser, I know people that make me feel like that 😉 Thanks for visiting my TT http://cleopatralovesbooks.wordpress.com/2014/07/08/teaser-tuesday-july-8/

But hopefully not your mother-in-law, lol. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your link.
To all my readers that are also fans of Catherine Cookson, Cleo’s book is one you might like. She may have put me onto a new author.

I’m curious about this book (LOVE the cover and title). Sounds like Daniel’s mother is a giant pain!
My Teaser is from RYELEE’S COWBOY.

Oh she is definitely a pain. Good thing she doesn’t live in NYC or she probably would have ruined their romance before the wedding, lol. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a link to your TT.

A great teaser. I’ve heard of the Molly Murphy mysteries before but I’ve never actually read one. I think I might try one now. My TT is from The Ghostly Girl http://goo.gl/uEk2ET

They do pretty much need to be read in order. The first one Murphy’s Law is a good one too. It relates how Molly came over from Ireland and got started in New York City.
Yours sounds good too. Like a spooky book, but without all that blood and gore (which is good for me, lol).

This looks like fun! I’ll be back to see what you thought of it.

Thanks, Laura. It is one of my favorite series. It is set circa 1900 which I generally don’t care for, but this one works for me.

Thanks for coming by, Catherine. The Molly Murphy books are pretty fast reading. There are some other recurring characters that are fun too–and always ready to help Molly get in or out of trouble.

Thanks for coming by, Yvonne. Rhys Bowen has a couple of other series too. I’ve read and loved her Evan Evans series, but not tried the Royal Spyness ones.

I’m guessing that Daniel’s mother is not a very nice woman.

She’s a bit snotty, lol. Probably like a lot of mothers and thinks the daughter-in-law is not good enough for her son.

I can understand where she’s coming from, LOL. Sounds like a good book.

I was very fortunate to have a wonderful mother-in-law, but I’ve heard stories, lol.
