Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other Teaser Tuesdays participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
This week I have been reading Twelve Sharp (2006) which, not counting the Between-the-Numbers novels, is twelfth in Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series.
If a man attended enough pot roast dinners in the presence of a single woman and her family, it was a marriage in the eyes of the Burg, if not God. And Morelli was dangerously close to marriage by pot roast.
Do you have a ‘Teaser’ to share with us?
Please leave a comment with the link on MizB’s Teaser Tuesday post or below. Or, if you don’t have a blog, you can share your Teaser here in the comment section instead.
What a great phrase, marriage by pot roast! Here is my TT http://cleopatralovesbooks.wordpress.com/2014/06/03/teaser-tuesday-june-3/

The Stephanie Plum series is loaded with great quotes. They pretty much all have a hilarious dinner at the parents house scene, but this one outdoes itself. It’s usually more about comedy and the trials and tribulations about the inept bounty hunter than the actual mystery. Twelve Sharp has about the best mystery of the series so far.

I’ve never come across this series but it might get added to the very long list!

So funny! One of my friends has devoured all the Stephanie Plum books and highly recommends them. Guess I’d better start reading this series myself.
My Teaser is from SINFUL FOLK. There’s a giveaway too.

They’re not my favorite mystery series, but they are one of the two favorites of the comedic ones and a wonderful change of pace from the thriller types.
Thanks for stopping by. I’ve lived in Dallas and Irving too. Decades ago though. Just watched the American Ninja Warrior qualifying from Dallas. So many Texans participating.
